Our substitutes are: CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified – Ready to respond to medical emergencies with speed and confidence. Trained to Identify Diabetic and Medical Emergencies – Proactively supporting student health and well-being. Skilled in De-escalation Techniques – Promoting a safe and respectful learning environment. Experienced in Building Positive Student Relationships – Creating trust and consistency for every child they serve. Able to Deliver Effective Lesson Plans and Manage Classrooms Smoothly – Keeping instruction on track in every setting. Fingerprint Background Checked – Ensuring student safety through thorough screening and compliance. Certified Educators or Actively Pursuing Certification – Many of our substitutes hold teaching credentials or are on the path to becoming certified professionals. At UPLIFT, leadership continuity is a priority. Our Substitute Assistant Principals are carefully selected professionals equipped to maintain school operations, support staff, and ensure student safety and discipline in the absence of campus administration. Each Substitute Assistant Principal is: Knowledgeable in Crisis Management and De-escalation Techniques Skilled in Supporting Instructional Leadership and Staff Collaboration Experienced in Student Behavioral Management and Parent Communication CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified Fingerprint Background Checked for Student Safety Familiar with Campus Operations and Academic Expectations In addition, all UPLIFT campus Principals hold state-recognized certification and are fully credentialed educational leaders. Our substitute leadership team works closely with them to ensure consistency, integrity, and excellence across every school day.
